Plans implements and evaluates the administrative operational supervisory and care coordination activities for the assigned area of responsibility. Leads a multi-disciplinary team in strategic directives and care activities to ensure best outcomes for patients families and staff.

Job Description:

Essential Functions:

Leads managers in strategic directives and activities to ensure achievement of best outcomes for patient and families. Leads multi and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement evidence-based clinical programs policies and standards. Develops policy and program descriptions to guide operational execution.
Develops and implements continuous performance improvement initiatives focused on management and experience for patients families and staff. Maintains safety and quality as priorities providing direction prioritization accountability enthusiasm and support for safety and quality initiatives.
In collaboration with the VP develops expense operational and capital budgets.
Recruits trains evaluate develops and assures that performance standards are met. Promotes teamwork by building a team environment and fostering cross-functional collaboration.
Coordinates staff representation on departmental hospital and community task forces committees quality teams and advisory groups. Serves as a representative to such groups when appropriate.
Participates in departmental and hospital projects that include new Epic implementations or new technology initiatives to design build and evaluate ongoing needs.

Education Requirement:

Masters in related field (MSN MSW MBA MHA) required.

Licensure Requirement:

Registered as a Nurse in the State of Ohio/ Licensed Social work in state of Ohio (as applicable) required.

Certifications:

Case management Certification preferred.

Skills:

Competency in area of clinical practice care coordination and leadership.

Experience:

Five years of leadership experience required.
