Job Description
Behavior Assistant

Were seeking a dedicated compassionate and enthusiastic Behavioral Assistant to support our students in building meaningful relationships developing communication skills and navigating their learning environment with confidence.
Work closely with teachers behavior analysts and therapists to implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
Provide 1:1 and small group support to students throughout the day including during classroom instruction transitions and recreational activities
Reinforce positive behaviors using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies and other evidence-based techniques
Support students with communication and social-emotional development skills
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and participate in regular training and team meetings
Help create a safe inclusive and engaging environment where students feel respected and understood
Who You Are:
Energetic patient and motivated by purpose
Experience working with children with autism (in home school or clinical settings) strongly preferred
Familiar with or willing to learn ABA principles data collection and behavior management strategies
A strong communicator who thrives in a team-oriented environment
Emotionally resilient and adaptable in a dynamic school setting
High school diploma or GED required (Associates or Bachelors in Psychology Education or related field is a plus
