Under general direction you will be accountable for the enrollment retention and completion of students in select populations. You will develop implement and assess creative methodologies to ensure student success defined by increased completion and retention rates. Your role will involve providing academic mentoring assisting students in planning educational goals selecting appropriate coursework and reviewing graduation requirements. You will also track and document student enrollment and engagement through to completion.
JOB SUMMARY:
Under general direction accountable for the enrollment retention and completion of students identified in select populations. Provides academic mentoring to students assisting them in planning educational goals reviewing the programs of study and respective requirements selecting appropriate course work and reviewing graduation requirements. PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
This position requires an ability to sit stand for long periods of time walk bend lift reach up stoop and carry items occasionally in excess of twenty-five (25) pounds. It also requires manual dexterity to operate standard office machines such as copier fax telephone and other equipment as necessary. IRSC expects its employees to follow proper safety standards while employed by the College.
