We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Civil Engineerto join our team in ourEdison NJ Office.

This position provides the opportunity for a hybrid/flex-hour work schedule.
Recently Global Infrastructure Solutions Inc. (GISI) the parent company of The LiRo Group and Hill International Inc. consolidated a portion of the highly experienced staff of both LiRo and Hill in the Northeast to create a larger more efficient and cost-effective team to serve clients. LiRo-Hill is a 1100-person firm with offices in NYC Long Island Buffalo Rochester Boston and Metro Park NJ.
Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of civil engineering analysis and design tasks related to: roadway system and grading design stormwater management utility layout and coordination zoning analysis site layout and planning and site ADA compliance
- Support coordination and presentation of submissions with local utilities municipalities environmental agencies and town planning boards
- Perform site investigations to observe and document existing conditions
- Assist in the preparation of project plans design calculations bid documents specifications and the coordination with other design disciplines as required to deliver high quality engineering services
- Perform construction inspections and provide responses and solutions to issues during the construction administration phase of projects
- Utilize a broad assortment of technical and project management skills onprojects that range from small restorations to large scale new construction
- Attend professional industry functions
- Support the development of technical standards and mentorship of junior engineering staff
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
- 3 years experience in Civil Engineering
- EIT certification required NJ PE preferred
- Ability to provide guidance to junior level engineers
- Understanding and application of code requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and consistently meet deadlines
- AutoCAD Civil 3D proficiency a requirement; Microstation experience a plus

- Compensation: Min: $85000 - Max: $110000. The range provided is the salary that the Firm in a good faith believes at the time of this posting is willing to pay for the advertised position. Exact compensation will be determined on the individual candidates qualifications and location.
