About the role:
The Clinical Assessment Specialist will work with Deakin learning campuses and academic teams to coordinate the design and delivery of best practice clinical assessment evaluation and feedback strategies across the major programs in the School with a particular focus on Medicine. The Clinical Assessment Specialist has responsibility for working within teaching units across the Doctor of Medicine Program School of Medicine ensuring integration of assessment with campus-based/clinical learning and Unit Learning Outcomes.
This role provides key leadership within the Years 1-4 MD assessment program and contributes to the delivery of the early years and Programmatic assessment program within the MD. The role will also contribute to the assessment team in developing and implementing strategic directions for assessment across the School.
The appointee will work alongside and report to the Senior Lecturer MD Assessment Lead and will be required to collaborate with other members of the assessment team as well as other teams within the School including academic and professional staff teams.
