Job Description
Energy Exemplars Plexos modelling software into a Microsoft SQL database for the resource
planning department. The application will be made generic to work with multiplePlexos instances. As part of the engagement the candidate will work closely with thebusiness to understand the requirements and assist them in creating Agile user stories. Inaddition the candidate will work with the vendor Energy Exemplar to change the existing dataextraction from binary to Apache Parquet format.
Mandatory Requirements
- Three years minimum experience developing Python applications including libraries
- Flask and Pandas.
- Three years minimum experience creating and optimizing SQL scripts.
- Ability to gather requirements from business users and successfully implement a
- project.
Technical Requirements
- The proposed contractor must be able to work with business users to determine the
- requirements and implement them.
- The Contractors will work in an Agile framework participating in two-week sprints.
- Knowledge of using JIRA for Agile development. Experience with Agile framework.
- Experience with Apache Parquet format.
- Contractors must have reliable internet work exclusively within the United States.
- Contractors must be available for any meetings generally scheduled between the hours
- 9 am and 5 pm Pacific Time.
- This is a hybrid task Contractors will be required to be on-site during the beginning of
- the project and will work with the Task Manager on hybrid schedule.
