The Opportunity

We are seeking a .NET Application Engineer (GovTech)to support our clients enterprise IT modernization initiatives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in full-stack development using the Microsoft .NET stack and Azure cloud services. Responsibilities include modernizing legacy systems implementing secure and scalable APIs managing high-volume data integrations and collaborating with cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

• Design develop test and deploy applications using .NET Core C# and MVC
• Implement robust data access layers using SQL/T-SQL and stored procedures
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs to enable seamless system communication
• Manage DevOps processes including CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
• Lead or contribute to cloud-based application architecture and migration efforts
• Ensure quality and performance through code reviews and automated testing
• Collaborate with business analysts stakeholders and team members to translate requirements into scalable software
• Maintain system documentation and support user acceptance testing
• Participate in Agile development cycles and contribute to planning retrospectives and demos

Compensation and Term

This opportunity is for a full-time contract position with possibleextensions and pay commensurate with experience up to$140000per year. Medical dental vision and life insurance available after 30 days of hire.

Qualifications you need

A successful candidatehas the following experience:

• Bachelors degree or masters degree in Computer Science Engineering Information Systems or related field.
• 6 years of professional .NET/.NET Core development experience
• 3 years of experience in Azure cloud services (e.g. Azure SQL Functions ADF)
• Proficiency in C# RESTful API development and front-end frameworks (e.g. Blazor MVC)
• 5 years of SQL Server experience including T-SQL stored procedures and database optimization
• DevOps experience with CI/CD pipelines Git and Azure DevOps
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development practices
• Previous experience supporting large-scale public sector applications preferred
