Job Description:
- Provide general office assistance and support
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
- Ability to comply with university policies.
- Maintain files and reports and ensure confidentiality of information.
- Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylors mission.
- Exhibit a willingness to take initiative and work independently and collaboratively.
Required Qualifications:
- Students must be undergraduate psychology and neuroscience majors at Baylor University and keep a 3.0 GPA. Students must also have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience with social media is a plus but not required.
- Enhance the departments social media presence by proactively collaborating with faculty research labs and staff to develop engaging and relevant content.
- Working with Microsoft Applications and Canva.
- Maintain files and reports and ensure confidentiality of information
- Greet visitors with excellent customer service; answer inquiries and provide information.
- Assist faculty with various print copy and scan requests.
- Answer the reception desk phone and direct calls as necessary.
- Keep printer paper and supplies replenished in the main office daily.
- Assist with various projects activities or tasks as needed
- Help with department events (set up/tear down etc.) as needed.
- Maintain files and reports and ensure confidentiality of information
- Other additional tasks as assigned by the Office Manager and/or Administrative Associate.

In addition you will enhance your problem-solving and communication abilities while gaining a deeper understanding of office management operations.
