What Youll Do
As a Process Engineer youll play a critical role in solving our customers biggest challenges by designing and optimizing display and semiconductor manufacturing processes. You will work on some of the most advanced and challenging technologies in the world shaping the way process engineering evolves for our business and the semiconductor industry. Process Engineers at Applied enjoy a diverse and exciting work experienceno two days are the same and the challenges are complex and interesting. You will experiment learn and collaborate with some of the brightest minds in the semiconductor and display industries partnering with our globally recognized R&D teams on state-of-the-art research and development projects.
Role Responsibilities:
Drive innovative techniques define methods and new technologies and apply them to characterize hardware
Perform hardware characterization on highly complex systems for a range of programs
Design collect data analyze and compile reports on highly complex process engineering experiments for a range of products
Design and implement new technology products and analytical instrumentation
Define and implement new methodologies define and apply new technologies and/or troubleshoot and resolve significantly complex process engineering issues for a range of products
Develop plan and execute process engineering projects for a range of products
Communicate and engage with key customers to resolve exceptionally sophisticated process engineering issues for a range of products to address customer High Value Problems (HVP)
Create internal and external documentation for products presentations technical reports for integrated products and generate process engineering specifications for integrated products
Define and validate film measurement techniques
Train engineers on the techniques and guide them in the interpretation of the data
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in a related field
10-15 years of related experience
Demonstrates conceptual and practical expertise in complex problem solving

YesThe salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location hire grade job-related knowledge skills experience and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program as applicable.
For all sales roles the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
