Role Description

As a MuleSoft Developer one will be responsible for designing developing and implementing integration solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. One will work closely with cross-functional teams including business analysts and system architects to create seamless and efficient connections between various applications and systems

Integration Design and Development:
o Design and develop MuleSoft integrations APIs and connectors to facilitate data exchange between different systems.
o Implement integration patterns to ensure scalable and reliable communication.
API Management:
o Develop and manage APIs using the Anypoint Platform including designing versioning and documenting APIs.
o Implement API security measures access controls and policies.
Data Transformation and Mapping:
o Perform data transformation and mapping within MuleSoft to ensure compatibility between disparate data sources.
o Implement data validation and enrichment during the integration process.
Error Handling and Logging:
o Implement error handling mechanisms to ensure the robustness of integrations.
o Set up logging and monitoring within MuleSoft to track and analyze integration performance.
Collaboration with Stakeholders:
o Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to gather integration requirements.
o Collaborate with system architects to ensure alignment with overall system architecture.
Testing and Quality Assurance:
o Conduct unit testing integration testing and performance testing of MuleSoft integrations.
o Ensure the quality and reliability of integrations through comprehensive testing.

Documentation:
o Create and maintain documentation for MuleSoft integrations including design documents configuration details and troubleshooting guides.
o Document best practices and guidelines for MuleSoft development.
Continuous Improvement:
o Stay informed about MuleSoft updates new features and best practices.
o Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization of existing integrations

Technical Skills

Proven experience (5 Years) as a MuleSoft Developer with hands-on development using the Anypoint Platform.
Strong understanding of integration patterns API design principles and RESTful services.
Proficiency in MuleSoft development including Mule runtime DataWeave and Anypoint Studio.
Knowledge of API security OAuth and other authentication mechanisms.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
MuleSoft Certification (e.g. MuleSoft Certified Developer).
Experience with cloud-based integrations and MuleSoft CloudHub.
Familiarity with other integration platforms and technologies.
Knowledge of DevOps practices for MuleSoft development.

Nice-to-have skills

Functional experience in pharma domain

Qualifications

Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science Information Technology Systems Design or equivalent field
