Nursery PractitionerHours Over 4 Days

Our client a welcoming and inclusive nursery setting is currently seeking a qualified and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join their dedicated team. This is a full-time position offering a salary of 26000 with 40 hours worked over just 4 days supporting a healthy work-life balance.

The nursery provides a safe nurturing and stimulating environment where children are encouraged to learn grow and thrive. They are committed to diversity equality and inclusion ensuring every child and staff member feels respected and valued.

Essential Requirements

  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a nursery pre-school or childcare setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development.
  • A caring patient and proactive attitude with excellent communication skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting childrens welfare.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
  • First Aid trained (or willingness to complete training).

As a Nursery Practitioner you will:

  • Deliver high-quality care and learning opportunities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Support each childs physical emotional and social development.
  • Plan and lead engaging age-appropriate activities to encourage creativity and curiosity.
  • Observe assess and document childrens progress sharing updates with families.
  • Foster a welcoming inclusive atmosphere for children and parents alike.
  • Ensure childrens safety through adherence to safeguarding and health & safety procedures.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean well-organised nursery environment.
