Essential Functions:
Recruits trains evaluate develops disciplines and/or terminates subordinate
staff. Assures that performance standards for all staff are met.
Promotes teamwork by building a team environment and fostering cross
functional collaboration.
Ensures regulatory compliance and emergency response preparedness.
Maintains safety and quality as priorities providing direction prioritization
accountability enthusiasm and support for safety and quality initiatives.
Coordinates staff representation on departmental hospital and community
task forces committees quality teams and advisory groups. Serves as a
representative to such groups when appropriate.
Coordinates the design of educational material and coordinates the
orientation of department personnel to social work and case management
role functions as well as information systems. Assists and directs staff in the
identification of their own learning needs and assists staff in meeting those
needs. Coordinates and oversees the educational development of select
students.
Oversees the clinical case management and social work functions within the
department. Maintains a working knowledge of assigned functions. Serves as
a liaison with third party payors community agencies and leadership
regarding these essential functions.
Assumes responsibility for the operation of the department in the Directors
absence as needed.
Contributes to development of expense operational and capital budgets.
Education Requirement:
Masters Degree in Social Work
Licensure Requirement:
Licensure as a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW-S) in the State of Ohio required.

Exceptional customer service communication negotiation and interpersonal
relationship skills required for interaction with contacts. Strong leadership and
decision-making skills. Skill in promoting multidisciplinary collaboration; ability to act as a facilitator and change agent required. Strong organizational skills required to evaluate existing policies/procedures/standards and to develop and
implement enhancements and/or new systems.
Experience:
Three-five years of clinical experience in area of expertise. Supervisory skills
required to plan assign and evaluate the work of subordinate staff. Analytical
skills required to oversee and organize the work of others and to develop and
administer sound policies procedures and multidisciplinary practices.
