This position will be based in our mid-town Baldwin location but will be required to travel to all area Charlotte locations as play a part in changing the lives of patients every day and work for an organization that has consistently been named on of the areas Top Workplaces. Responsibilities: - Manages radiologic services in accordance with clinical and governmental standards and within an established budget
- Facilitates the development and achievement of mission goals policies budgets and work methods
- Evaluates and maintains the quality of images procedures and services
- Selects orients/trains monitors evaluates department staff including Radiology/MRI technologists
- Reviews department performance and ensures compliance accreditation legal and other regulatory requirements
- Collects/analyzes data prepares and presents information/statistics for administrative and regulatory purposes
- Serves as liaison with our physicians clinical staff and other outside consultants
- Ensures maintenance of equipment and materials. Researches and introduces new equipment and techniques and conducts related in-services
- Monitors patient flow and patient complaints
- Applies our values in decision-making and interactions with all individuals
- Promotes a positive work environment through effective teamwork.
- Other duties as assigned by changing needs patient flow or physician request.
Successful candidates: - Finesse in collaborating with multiple individuals;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment in support of excellent patient care.
Education/Experience: - Current certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (AART) MR and/or R.
- Minimum three years experience as RT
- Previous supervisory or management experience highly favored
