What You Will Do
Columbus Engine Center is the largest Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) shop for the Pratt & Whitney Geared Turbo Fan (GTF). The GTF engine family is the quietest most efficient most environmental in its class delivering the lowest fuel consumption and CO2 emissions for single-aisle aircraft. Columbus Engine Center also houses the Military Engine Center of Excellence which performs MRO activities on a number of military engine models. With 550000 sq ft of manufacturing space and an expansion underway Columbus Engine Center is looking for dedicated individuals to help support and grow our organization. Fall 2025 Intern positions are available in Robotics/Technology Engineering disciplines to be based in Columbus GA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design development and testing of robotic systems and automation solutions for manufacturing processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate robotics technologies into existing production lines ensuring seamless operation and compatibility
- Conduct performance analysis and troubleshooting of robotic systems providing recommendations for optimization and improvements
Qualifications You Must Have
- Enrolled in a bachelors degree program studying an Engineering Discipline or a related field.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship
Qualifications We Prefer
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint)
- Experience/education with technical writing
- Experience with project execution

The salary range for this role is 37000 USD - 82000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
