Job Description
Postdoctoral Associate Department: Plant Biology Posting Summary: A post-doctoral position in the Department of Plant Biology at Rutgers University New Jersey USA working in Vaccinium pathology/breeding is available immediately as a grant funded project led by Dr. Peter V. Oudemans. Overview: Post-doctoral associate will be responsible for analyzing diverse datasets related to blueberry and cranberry pathology production and soil health metrics and translating these insights to recommendations for crop improvement improved agroecological practices and future research questions. Candidate should have a doctoral degree in an agricultural field and be comfortable working with large multimodal datasets. Applied experience in crop improvement or production particularly for Vaccinium species preferable.
