Responsibilities may include but not limited to the following duties:
Ownership of shared files and data used for expense forecast / annual operating plan maintaining organized and accurate data while ensuring that deadlines and targets are met
Continually work to improve the planning forecasting and reporting processes to drive increased accuracy and efficiency
Participate in annual budgeting process for Corporate IT
Manage month-end close responsibilities including:
Monthly journal entries
Project set-up and maintenance
Prepare general ledger account reconciliations
Asset Adds
Settlement Errors
Payroll reporting
Prepare deliver and present monthly financial results for Finance and Management on a timely basis. Ensure accuracy of the data.
Ownership of shared team files and processes maintaining organized up-to-date and accurate information while ensuring that deadlines and targets are met
Develop ad hoc reports to support analyses. Work on special requests projects and financial presentations for management as required
Must Have: Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree plus 2 years of work experience in Finance and/or Accounting or an Advanced Degree with 0 years of work experience
Nice to Have:
Bachelors Degree in Finance or Accounting
Experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) including revenue and expense analytics
Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify key trends and drivers
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate financial data into clear actionable insights for management
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities
Expertise in using systems and data to provide insightful analysis and implement actionable recommendations
High level of business acumen and the ability to influence stakeholders at various levels of the organization
Ability to work independently and self-motivate with limited oversight
Experience managing projects that require high collaboration across teams and building relationships
Familiarity with Medtronic financial systems including SAP OneStream Essbase and Hyperion
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office tools such as Excel PowerPoint and Word
Experience supporting an IT function & an understanding of foundational IT concepts
