Your purpose
As the Head Chef of Home House youwill lead and inspire the kitchen team to deliver exceptional culinaryexperiences ensure high standards of food quality presentation and kitchenefficiency while driving creativity and consistency across all dishes.
Reporting to the General Manageryour responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Ensuring all Kitchens are managedeffectively and safely at all times including the highest levels of controlregarding cleanliness food hygiene HACCP stock management and mise en placelevels.
Produce high quality on-trend andseasonal menus with maintainable margins.
Source the best ingredients usingnominated suppliers and in line with budget.
Ensure the team produces dishes ontime and to the expected standard.
Work closely with other Heads ofDepartment to ensure standards in the House are maintained.
Ensure a high level of communicationensuring all information is passed on to the team.
Manage the team whilst promoting aprofessional image with a caring and helpful attitude to ensure consistent andcontinual high service standards.
Recruit and select excellent teammembers ensuring your staff turnover remains in line with Company KeyPerformance Indicators.
Develop your team and hold appraisalson OpenBlend at least once per quarter.
Liaise with the Human Resources teamregarding any employee relations issues in order to ensure compliance withCompany policies and employment legislation.
Develop and communicate adepartmental action plan in order to deliver continual improvements increasedrevenue and profit.
Identify ideas and resources thatwill enable the achievement and surpassing of financial targets.
Have overall responsibility for theoperational costs and profitability of the department in order to ensure thatrevenue and profitability is achieved.
Effectively manage departmentalpayroll in accordance with the budget.
Manage our people systems and ensurerotas are kept up to date according to business levels.
Ensure accurate financial reportingincluding revenue and forecast management.
Accurately administer Kitchen CUT.
