Job Description
- Set up and operate offset printing presses according to job specifications and production schedules
- Adjust ink levels paper feed plate alignment and register to ensure proper print quality
- Conduct test runs and make necessary adjustments for optimal output
- Monitor job progress and machine performance to ensure efficient workflow
- Conduct quality checks on printed or finished documents for alignment completeness and correct finishing
- Troubleshoot minor machine issues and perform basic maintenance
- Follow job instructions work orders and precisely to ensure compliance with customer specifications and internal standards
- Maintain accurate production logs and report any deviations delays or equipment issues to the supervisor
- Adhere to safety protocols data protection and confidentiality requirements particularly in secure document environments
- Support team members and shift activities to meet overall production goals
- Experience in operating offset printing presses
- Vocational training or certification in printing technology is preferred
- Familiarity with secure print protocols and ISO standards
- Solid understanding of ink paper color theory and press mechanics
- Ability to interpret layouts and technical printing instructions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Basic computer skills
- Teamwork and communication skills
