Job Description
RN - Cardiovascular Operating Room Contract Role
- Location: Rochester NY 14621
- Weekly Pay: $2800 - $2960
- Shift: 10-hr. Days
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week
Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe quality cardiovascular perioperative nursing care to surgical patients
- Collaborate with surgeons anesthesiologists and surgical technologists in cardiovascular surgical procedures
- Prepare and maintain the operating room with necessary surgical equipment and supplies
- Assist in preparing patients for surgery and post-operative recovery
- Monitor patient status intraoperatively and respond to emergency situations
- Use advanced surgical technology and robotics (e.g. da Vinci Rosa and Monarch robots)
- Document procedures and care provided using EPIC EMR
- Administer moderate sedation and manage infusion pumps and other specialized equipment
- Follow infection control and safety protocols strictly
- Support team workflow and participate in on-call rotation
License:
-
Active RN license in New York
Certifications:
- AHA BLS (Basic Life Support)-Required
- AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)-Required
Experience:
-
Minimum 2 years of Cardiovascular OR experience-required
- Locals accepted - local pay rate will apply for candidates residing within 75 miles.
