Job Description

We are seeking an adaptable and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join a high-performing team in Illinois supporting float pool coverage across multiple specialty units. This role is ideal for nurses who thrive in a dynamic environment and are confident transitioning between units based on patient census and hospital needs. Candidates must be flexible with schedules and prepared to work every other weekend and holidays as part of the unit rotation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide safe high-quality care to patients in assigned specialty areas (e.g. Telemetry ICU Med/Surg Stepdown or similar)

  • Float between like-kind units or related specialties within your clinical scope and skill set

  • Administer medications monitor vital signs and respond to acute changes in patient condition

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated patient-centered care

  • Accurately document assessments interventions and outcomes in the EMR

  • Maintain adherence to safety infection control and hospital standards

Requirements:
  • Active Illinois RN license (Required)

  • BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA Required)

  • Minimum 2 years of recent experience in an acute care setting (Preferred)

  • Ability to float to multiple specialty areas within your clinical competency

  • Strong clinical assessment time management and communication skills

  • Must be available for every other weekend and holiday rotation
