Job Description
Cath Lab Tech
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a solid foundation in radiologic technology and will be responsible for assisting in the management of patients in the cath lab setting while ensuring optimal patient care and safety.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in performing diagnostic and interventional procedures in the cath lab.
- Ensure the efficient operation of cath lab equipment.
- Maintain patient safety and comfort during procedures.
- Collaborate with medical staff to optimize patient outcomes.
- Monitor and document patient vital signs throughout the procedure.
- Conduct quality assurance and safety checks on medical imaging equipment.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and protocols.
Essential Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Current (ARRT) Registry certification.
- Current BLS certification.
- Active KY Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy License.
- Must be available for 3x 12-hour shifts.
- Ability to obtain ACLS certification within 1 year of hire.
Desired Experience:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a cath lab or related environment is required.
- Clinical experience in managing patients with various cardiac conditions.
- Familiarity with cath lab technology and safety standards.
Salary & Benefits:
This position offers a competitive annual salary range of $79000 to $98000 which will be determined based on the candidates interview performance and skill set. Additionally the organization provides a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
