About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Mulesoft API Architect to lead the design and implementation of robust API solutions for a key client engagement. This is a senior-level contract role requiring a proactive individual who can confidently liaise with stakeholders drive architectural decisions and ensure successful delivery across the API lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and design scalable secure and high-performance APIs using Mulesoft.
- Collaborate directly with client stakeholders to gather requirements present solutions and influence technical direction.
- Lead integration strategy and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
- Oversee the development lifecycle including design reviews code quality and deployment best practices.
- Troubleshoot complex integration issues and provide expert-level guidance to development teams.
- Document architecture decisions integration patterns and technical specifications.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3 5 years of hands-on experience with Mulesoft API architecture and integration.
- Proven track record of delivering enterprise-grade API solutions.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs RAML and API-led connectivity.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines DevOps practices and cloud-native deployments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and make things happen in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have
- Mulesoft certification (Architect or Developer).
- Familiarity with other integration platforms or microservices architecture.
