The Associate DevOps Administrator plays a key role working within a highly collaborative and Agile development team toward the design and production of mission-critical enterprise-scale business systems. The right candidate is self-motivated understands technical problems and is ready to work closely with other team members in various engineering proactive maintenance and value-add initiatives.
The Associate DevOps Administrator will work closely with systems architects software developers systems engineers and business analysts to design and maintain enterprise infrastructure software development pipelines and miscellaneous system health requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Work as an integral part of a cross-functional team in an Agile environment
- Support and participate in the design implementation and maintenance of integrated and automated DevOps capabilities for software development programs
- Support and participate in the design implementation and maintenance of automated CI/CD pipelines/workflows in coordination with software development teams
- Support owning and maintaining a comprehensive system health and observability technology stack including application logs system logs infrastructure health and pipeline automation health
- Support owning and maintaining a comprehensive capacity planning strategy to ensure that Agile teams have adequate resources to sustain ongoing development operations
- Participate in tier 1 troubleshooting to help investigate failures related to infrastructure pipelines deployments and automations
- Collaborate with internal and external teams as needed to triage and resolve service issues in a timely manner
This position is on-site. Candidates must be local or willing to relocate. Relocation assistance is not offered for this position.
Qualifications :
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Technical background with 1-2 years of IT experience
- Strong foundation of PC/server hardware knowledge and skills
- Experience with automation tools and scripting (any language)
- Basic understanding of object-oriented programming principles
- Basic understanding of relational database management systems (e.g. MS SQL Oracle Postgres)
- Basic understanding of source code management (e.g. SVNGit/Gitlab)
- Well-versed in the Linux operating system
- Foundational networking knowledge/skills (e.g. OSI model protocols)
- Strong interpersonal oral and written communication skills
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Technical background with 1-2 years of DevOps or software development experience
- Solid Linux scripting skills (e.g. Bash/Python)
- Basic knowledge of container technologies and orchestration (e.g. Docker/Kubernetes)
- Basic of knowledge of enterprise observability stacks (e.g. ELK Stack Prometheus/Grafana)
- Any experience with Java and related technologies
- Any experience with Azure (preferred) or other cloud providers
- Any experience with Oracle databases

Additional Information :
Expected base salary: $71000 to $95000
