Join our dynamic culinary team as a Demi Chef de Partie in the heart of Cairo Egypt! Were looking for a talented and passionate individual to contribute to our kitchens success and delight our guests with exceptional cuisine.
- Assist the Chef de Partie in preparing high-quality dishes for a la carte and buffet menus
- Ensure consistency in food preparation according to our propertys recipes and standards
- Actively share ideas and suggestions to improve our menus and kitchen environment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in your designated station
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service
- Monitor and report food waste and equipment issues promptly
- Assist in inventory management and stock rotation
- Participate in menu planning and development sessions
- Mentor and guide junior kitchen staff when necessary
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards
Qualifications :
- 1-2 years of relevant work experience in a hotel or upscale restaurant particularly in a la carte service
- Culinary school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Proven ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced high-pressure environment
- Strong teamwork skills with a collaborative mindset
- Excellent knife skills and proficiency in various food preparation techniques
- In-depth knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Creativity in dish presentation and plating
- Strong communication skills in English and Arabic
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
- Detail-oriented with a focus on consistency and quality
- Enthusiasm for culinary trends and continuous learning
- Basic computer skills for menu planning and inventory management

Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):
Constant standing and walking throughout shift.
Frequent lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs.
Occasional kneeling pushing pulling lifting.
Occasional ascending or descending ladders stairs and ramps.
Visa Requirements: Must be legally permitted to work in Egypt.
