Position Purpose:

Set up and clear tables stock all service stations and assist food servers with table service to ensure total guest satisfaction.

Essential Functions:

• Quickly clear dirty table settings and prepare tables for resetting. Promptly and consistently reset all service ware as prescribed.
• Maintain stock and cleanliness of stations for all meal periods with necessary equipment including silverware linen and glassware.
• Transport all dirty tableware from the dining room to the dishwashing area for proper cleaning.
• Retrieve room service equipment from guest floors service elevator foyers and public areas lifting loading and carrying trays weighing up to 50lbs or pushing wheeled carts to sort items at ware wash area.
• Serve guests with beverages to begin their dining experience and replenish as necessary.

Supportive Functions:

• Perform general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products as assigned by the supervisor to adhere to health standards.
• Folding napkins for all meal periods throughout the day to maintain an adequate supply.
• Perform other duties as requested such as cleaning unexpected spills or special guest requests to ensure total guest satisfaction.

Experience:

No prior experience required. Prior hospitality experience preferred.

Due to the seasonal and business nature of the hospitality industry employees may be required to work varying schedules and hours to reflect the staffing needs of the hotel.
