As a Principal Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Home Lending - Servicing Platform you will have the opportunity to showcase your expertise and engineering excellence. Job responsibilities
- Creates complex and scalable coding frameworks using appropriate software design frameworks
- Sets up and manags POCs to evaluate the feasibility and impact of new technologies and methodologies ensuring alignment with business goals and technical requirements
- Leads AI innovation initiativese by identifying opportunies to integrat artificial intelligence into existing and new products enhancing the firms technological capabilities
- Drives the adoption of best practices in software development and AI integration ensuring high standards of quality security and efficiency are maintained across all projects
- Explores and develop strategies for the implementation of cutting-edge technologies across the organization ensuring they align with the firms long-term objective
- Advises cross-functional teams on technological matters within your domain of expertise
- Contributes to the development of technical methods in specialized fields in line with the latest product development methodologies
- Creates durable reusable software frameworks that are leveraged across teams and functions
- Influences leaders and senior stakeholders across business product and technology teams
- Champions the firms culture of diversity equity inclusion and respect
Required qualifications capabilities and skills
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 10 years applied experience
- Hands-on practical experience delivering system design application development testing and operational stability
- Expert in Java programming language
- Strong skillset in AI
- Advanced knowledge of software application development and technical processes with considerable in-depth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines (e.g. cloud artificial intelligence machine learning mobile etc.)
- Experience applying expertise and new methods to determine solutions for complex technology problems in one or more technical disciplines
- Experience within cloud technologies
- Ability to present and effectively communicate with Senior Leaders and Executives
- Understanding of the business

- Artificial Intelligence Certifications
