PHP Web Developer
- PHP Web Developer
- Remote Working (ideally Greater Manchester-based)
- Market Rates
- 3 months (initially)
- Outside IR35
The Opportunity:
Operating as a PHP Web Developer you will be responsible for programming configuration and software maintenance across both open source and Microsoft technology stacks for the ongoing delivery and enhancement of their web-based digital services.
This is a contract role offering remote working though candidates based in or near the Greater Manchester area are preferred for occasional collaboration or onsite visits as and when required.
Essential Skills and Experience
Strong programming expertise in:
- PHP (including Laravel)
- Familiarity with CSS HTML and associated front-end frameworks
Experience working with open source technologies such as:
- Database management (PostgreSQL MySQL)
- Content Management Systems (CMS)
- API integrations
Role andResponsibilities:
- Lead the development and refactoring of the companys main website to align with modern standards and best practices
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions
- Enhance and extend the customer dashboard improving usability performance and data presentation
- Integrate third-party APIs to streamline workflows and support new financial services functionality
- Contribute to code reviews ensuring quality maintainability and security across all deliverables
