Job Description
What youll do:
- Facilitate group activities for residents with differing abilities interests needs and preferences
- Deliver an array of planned and spontaneous social recreational and therapeutic programs
- In collaboration with management provide direction support and assistance to volunteers during activity programs and familiarizes volunteers with related activity techniques
- Pay keen attention to changes in resident functional ability interest participation mood and ability to accomplish tasks
What youll need:
- Certificate or Diploma from a recognized Recreation program or equivalent education and experience with seniors
- Current First Aid and Food Safe Level I certificates required
- Experience working with seniors with moderate to severe dementia
- A Class 4 drivers license would be an asset
Wage Levelling Salary: $28.95 per hour
Internal Closing Date : July 15 2025
Workdays: Tuesdays and Thursdays
