Job Description

What youll do:

  • Facilitate group activities for residents with differing abilities interests needs and preferences
  • Deliver an array of planned and spontaneous social recreational and therapeutic programs
  • In collaboration with management provide direction support and assistance to volunteers during activity programs and familiarizes volunteers with related activity techniques
  • Pay keen attention to changes in resident functional ability interest participation mood and ability to accomplish tasks

What youll need:

  • Certificate or Diploma from a recognized Recreation program or equivalent education and experience with seniors
  • Current First Aid and Food Safe Level I certificates required
  • Experience working with seniors with moderate to severe dementia
  • A Class 4 drivers license would be an asset

Wage Levelling Salary: $28.95 per hour

Internal Closing Date : July 15 2025

Workdays: Tuesdays and Thursdays
