Job Description
Position Overview:
We are seeking licensed and compassionate Mental Health Therapists to join a multidisciplinary team serving a high-need population in a secure clinical setting. This role is ideal for clinicians who are committed to providing high-impact mental health care through structured therapy crisis intervention and comprehensive treatment planning.
As a Mental Health Therapist you will hold the title of Mental Health Coordinator responsible for delivering non-medical therapeutic support to individuals with a wide range of mental health concerns. Youll be working in a mission-driven environment where your work contributes directly to individual transformation and systemic change.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct mental health screenings and assessments through clinical interviews and record reviews

Develop implement and modify individual treatment plans

Provide short-term therapy crisis intervention and ongoing counseling as needed

Accurately document all clinical activity in accordance with regulations

Maintain strict confidentiality and professional boundaries
-
Apply current therapeutic best practices to a diverse caseload

Collaborate with other healthcare and security staff to ensure quality integrated care
Required Qualifications:

Masters degree in Social Work Psychology Mental Health Counseling or related clinical field

Active LCSW LPC or LMFT license in the State of California (Required)

2 years of clinical experience post-graduate

Minimum age of 21

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to thrive in a structured environment
