Compensation:

• Hourly pay rate $34.47 to $46.57 (Based on Experience) - paid weekly

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance troubleshooting and repair of PET (polyethylene terephthalate) crystallizers and dryers. The ideal candidate will have experience with thermal processing equipment pneumatic and electrical systems and a strong understanding of material handling systems used in PET processing environments.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and emergency maintenance on PET crystallizers dryers and auxiliary equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical electrical and process issues using standard troubleshooting procedures.
• Conduct inspections and calibration of temperature controls heaters blowers and air flow systems.
• Monitor and maintain dryer dew point levels and ensure crystallizers are operating within process parameters.
• Replace repair or adjust components such as motors belts sensors thermocouples filters and air lines.
• Read and interpret technical manuals electrical schematics and process flow diagrams.
• Document all work performed in maintenance logs and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment performance.
• Participate in continuous improvement and root cause analysis initiatives.
• Follow all safety procedures lockout/tagout protocols and company policies.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree in industrial maintenance or related field preferred.
• 3 years of experience in maintenance preferably in a plastic processing or thermoforming environment.
• Familiarity with PET crystallization and drying systems (e.g. Novatec or UnaDyn).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of 3-phase electrical systems PLC interfaces and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced production setting.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs work at heights and perform tasks in hot environments.
• Willingness to work overtime weekends or be on-call as needed.
