Overview
Immediate Hiring Need for a Maintenance Technician
Location: Gastonia NC

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to support continuous operations in our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. This role will ensure all mechanical systems equipment and infrastructure operate at optimal efficiency to meet our high-speed production and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production and auxiliary equipment (e.g. casting systems rolling mills cooling systems)
- Troubleshoot electrical mechanical pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Use computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to log work orders and analyze root causes
- Interpret blueprints schematics and technical diagrams for repair or upgrades
- Collaborate cross-functionally with production and quality teams to minimize downtime
- Support installation and commissioning of new equipment and upgrades
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards ISO9001:2015 protocols and environmental procedures
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts contributing to lean initiatives and process upgrades
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; technical certification military training or associates degree preferred
- 3 years of maintenance experience in an industrial manufacturing setting or military training
- Strong understanding of electromechanical systems
- PLC troubleshooting(prefered)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in elevated areas
- Excellent analytical thinking and a team-oriented mindset
