The Manager of Regulatory Affairs is responsible for ensuring that Halifax Water complies with applicable regulations and laws particularly those related to the Nova Scotia Regulatory and Appeals Board (NSRAB). This includes managing interactions with regulators preparing reports and presentations and developing compliance processes and procedures.
Education:
Bachelors degree in Public Administration Environmental Science Engineering or Law or a related field. An equivalent education training and certification may be considered.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience working in regulatory affairs preferably in the utility industry or infrastructure/compliance related environment proven ability to manage complex regulatory processes and lead cross-functional initiatives experience working with regulatory agencies and preparing formal submissions experience working with senior management is preferred and experience working with external counsel would be an asset.
