Accountant III Financial Reporting
Bachelors degree in an appropriate area and four years of relevant experience.
The University of Floridas CFO Division is seeking a strategic Accountant III to optimize financial communication and efficiency across our complex institution. Specific duties include:
Reporting:
- Assist in preparation of Annual Financial Reports for University Colleges and Units
- Develop comprehensive annual work plans
- Create robust audit trails and financial documentation
- Generate critical financial reports and analyses
- Support IPEDs and bond rating financial surveys
- Execute quarterly and specialized financial reporting
Support internal and external reporting requirements
Customer Service & Outreach:
- Bridge communication between CFO Division and university departments
- Coordinate complex financial reporting deadlines
- Foster collaborative relationships across institutional units
- Streamline interdepartmental financial communication
- Ensure consistent compliance and reporting standards
Continuous Improvement:
- Analyze and optimize cross functional financial reporting processes
- Recommend strategic improvements
- Develop critical process documentation
- Support Workday implementation financial alignment
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives
Special Projects:
- Performs a variety of special projects as needed

$75000 - $85000
Bachelors degree in an appropriate area and four years of relevant experience.
Experience using PeopleSoft and/or Workday Financial systems.
Masters Degree in Accounting or Finance discipline.
Certified Public Accountant or equivalent Certification or eligible and willing to complete within two years.
