What We Are Looking For
- Knowledge of different coatings application techniques and equipment.
- Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Assist fabricators with the preparation and assembly of materials for fabrication projects.
- Ensuring smooth finishes proper adhesion and compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency in fabrication operations.
- Cleaning scraping sanding and masking surfaces to ensure proper paint adhesion. Using various tools like spray guns brushes and rollers to apply paint varnish and other finishes.
- Maintain and clean painting equipment.
- Minimum of 5 years of structural painting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given prescribed routines and standard accepted practices.
- Basic understanding of painting processes and techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must maintain regular punctual attendance to meet productivity standards.
- Possess or be able to obtain a forklift certification upon hire.
- Valid Drivers license
