Position Overview:

We are seeking an LPN Unit Managerto join our team atThe Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing at Rome.In this leadership role you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the nursing unit ensuring that residents receive the highest standard of care. You will mentor staff enforce policies and ensure the unit functions efficiently while providing the best care for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise nursing staffand manage unit operations.

  • Develop implement and enforceemployee policies and procedures to ensure efficient and compliant care delivery.

  • Mentor and supportless experienced nurses offering clinical guidance and career development advice.

  • Establish and uphold standards of carefor the unit to ensure resident safety and well-being.

  • Review resident recordsand monitor the quality of care provided to ensure accurate and effective treatment plans.

  • Conduct case reviewsand ensure that individualized care plans are consistently followed.

  • Address inquiries and concernsfrom residents and their families in a timely and professional manner.

  • Ensure the unit is adequately stockedwith necessary medical supplies to prevent shortages and ensure smooth operations.

  • Advocate for the units intereststo upper management and collaborate in addressing issues as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experiencein long-term care (preferred).

  • At least 1 year of experiencein a Unit Manager role (preferred).

  • Valid LPN Licenserequired.

  • Basic computer skillsfor documentation and communication.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skillsto foster positive relationships with residents families and staff.
