What we want
The Dietitian provides part-time nutrition counseling services and assessments for University Health Services and supports health education programming focused on prevention risk reduction and health promotion for Texas A&M students.

Other: This is an in-person position located at University Health Services on the TAMU College Station Campus. This is a temporary non-benefits-eligible casual position.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
Bachelors degree in nutrition Dietetics or related area.
Two years of experience in administrative dietetic programs and processes.
Preferred Qualifications
State License and American Dietetic Association Registration and License (RD/LDN)
Masters degree in Nutrition Health Public Health or related field.
One year of experience as a dietitian in high-volume university commercial institutional restaurant or hotel food service environment.
Knowledge Skills Abilities
Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with others in a team-oriented environment.
Demonstrated computer proficiency in a Windows-based environment and software including Microsoft Office suite.
Additional Information
The individual in this position may be required to handle Personally Identifiable Information (PII) as defined by FERPA regulations and Protected Health Information (PHI) as defined by HIPAA regulations.
The individual is required to handle PII & PHI in accordance with UHS and A&M System policy.
FERPA and HIPAA training are required upon employment and on a recurring basis as needed
Responsibilities
Patient Care
Provides nutrition counseling services and assessments
Conducts medical nutrition therapy and supervises individual educational consultations with students
Charts all nutrition notes in patients medical records using the Health Centers electronic medical record and appointment system
Health Education
Supports development of program content learning resources and evaluation tools for dietary education interventions
May assist in preparing and reviewing educational materials
Presents dietary programs to student groups as needed
Collaboration and Service Support
Collaborates with campus partners and supports outreach and health promotion events.
Fosters a positive team environment through collaboration and collegiality
Participates in departmental meetings and contributes to quality improvement efforts
Engages with campus and community partners to support ongoing health service initiatives
