Job Description
Buehlers Tap Wall Lead manages the everyday operations of the bar area in the beer and wine department.
Our Tap Wall teammates enjoy providing a great experience for our customers by remaining compliant with state and federal liquor laws and regulations.
A typical day for a Tap Wall Lead may include:
- Operating the register; Cash handling
- Provide customer service
- Manage ordering and managing inventory
- Provide training to the departments new hires
- Actively maintain compliance with liquor laws and regulations
- Provide customers with beer and wine recommendations
- Comply with sanitation health and personal hygiene standards and housekeeping to keep the work area clean
- Understand that you may assume additional related secondary duties such as assisting the Beer and Wine Department Lead with tasks and projects as needed or assigned

Our legal team wants you to know whats required for this role:
- Must be available to be scheduled 35hrs a week including nights and weekends based on department needs.
- Having an interest & knowledge of beer and wine is required.
- Possesses excellent customer service skills
- Able to provide customer recommendations for beer and wine selections
- Manual dexterity; auditory and visual skills; and the ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures; and can do simple math problems
- Physical Demands: frequent bending carrying etc.; repetitive to 30#; occasional lifting to 50#
- Other Considerations: Leadership skills customer service orientated growth potential able to work with minimal supervision reliable and dependable
