Were looking for a sales hunter to join ivWatch and land new hospital accounts with targeted engagement at the hospital executive level.In this role you will be selling a one of its kind hospital-wide safety solution that addresses IV extravasations. Every day over 90% of the patients in a hospital require an IV of which 50% of fail of those failures 23% are due to extravasations. These extravasations cost hospitals millions each year even leading to amputations in the extreme cases. Our solution addresses this huge hospital-wide clinical and financial problem requires no upfront capital provides a positive ROI and requires no long-term contract. Initial sales focus for this hunter role will be closing Solutions for Patient Safety (SPS) childrens hospitals in an assigned territory. This position will report to the VP US Sales and partners with marketing and a team of field based clinical nurse specialists.
Your responsibilities in this hunter role will include:
Achieve and exceed the sales goals for the territory
Regularly research network secure and conduct hospital executive level meetings
Manage a complex sales processes consisting of hospital leaders in finance legal quality medical nursing in addition to other departments
Meet routinely with ivWatch VP US Sales regarding account progress and strategies
Build and present an annual business plan and quarterly reviews of all accounts
Provide accurate weekly sales forecast updates
Be the expert in the field of peripheral IV delivery and its complications and educate our customers of the clinical and financial benefits of our products.
Regularly document all communications and planned activities in companys CRM system
Travel extensively in performance of duties; this travel may fall on weekends and be outside of assigned territory/region.
Minimum qualifications skills competencies or experience:
Documented and successful hospital executive level sales history
Understanding of the hospital vascular access space preferred
A coachable team player who owns the sales process
More than ten years of document hospital medical device sales experience
Exceptional executive level verbal written communication and presentation skills
Ability to meet hospital credentialing requirements upon hire
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems
Willing to do work the hours that are needed to close business including extensive travel up to 75% as needed
