Job Description

Were looking for a motivated Launch Engineer to join our New Model Launch team. In this role youll take the lead in resolving pre-series build issues ensuring robust containment and delivering long-term corrective actions. Its a highly visible position with broad exposure across the organisationincluding R&D Program Quality and Manufacturingoffering a unique opportunity to make a genuine impact on launch success.

Youll lead during fast-paced build events coordinate cross-functional activity and apply structured problem-solving tools to keep launch plans moving forward. Youll also maintain and present KPIs that track build health drive decisions and keep senior stakeholders informed. Your ability to adapt influence and manage across teams will be crucial.

This role suits someone whos logical collaborative and thrives on complexity. You should be comfortable with autonomy able to manage multiple projects and confident presenting ideas clearly at all business levels.

Were looking for candidates with:

  • A degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle assembly operations
  • Familiarity with R&D Quality and Program requirements for vehicle launch
  • Experience using 8D DMAIC or other structured problem-solving methods
  • Six Sigma accreditation or an NVQ in Automotive Production would be preferred.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent presentation and communication abilities

This role offers more than technical challengeno two days are the same its a platform to lead influence and grow. Youll have the freedom to make decisions the trust to own problems and the visibility to shape something meaningful.

Youll be based onsite five days a week at our Gaydon Site in Warwickshire working within a tight-knit team. Its a dynamic collaborative environment where your voice will be heardand where your work will have real visible impact.
