Primary Focus: Ensure timely and high-quality deliveries to our distribution center and secure parts availability for end customers.
Responsibilities:
Hold suppliers to performance standards and business goals.
Work with transportation procurement inventory management and engineering teams.
Develop deep understanding of our supply chain systems and processes.
Key Tasks:
Maintain strong communication with internal teams and external suppliers.
Monitor supplier performance and suggest improvements.
Identify and correct schedule variation.
Support changes and continuous improvement initiatives.
Address data irregularities and implement sustainable corrective actions.
Provide support for high-priority back orders and ensure cost-effective operations.
Qualifications:
Masters degree or equivalent experience.
Skills:
Effective Communication:
Strong written and oral skills in English; French German Dutch are an asset.
Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
Build relationships and collaborate effectively.
Analytical Thinking:
Define problems and determine their significance.
Compare alternative solutions systematically.
Use flow charts Pareto charts fish diagrams to reveal data patterns.
Use logic and intuition to interpret data and draw conclusions.
Problem Solving:
Document problems and resolution alternatives.
Understand the perspectives of involved stakeholders.
Develop techniques to assess information accuracy and relevance.
Supplier Management:
Manage day-to-day supplier interactions independently.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize supplier performance.
Communicate company standards and expectations to suppliers.
Ensure suppliers align with company standards and expectations.
