Job Description

Third Party Banking forms part of the Consumer Banking Division and currently delivers a third of the Groups revenue. Our vision is to be a market leader in the third-party mortgages industry in customer and partner experience.

About the role

As Home Lending Specialist and reporting to Team Manager Virtual Lending you will engage with customers via inbound phone email messaging and any emerging virtual technologies servicing customers home lending fulfilment requirements.

Youll get to

  • Identify customers needs and help them reach their goals by exploring their circumstances and offering relevant banking solutions in a virtual environment.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders including Virtual Banking Teams TPB Team and existing partners and brokers
  • Develop and maintain knowledge and application of policy procedure and compliance ensuring a high quality of lending submission and adherence to legislative requirements

About you

To be successful you will have:

  • Good understanding of the Banks lending products policies and regulations with an understanding of home lending ideal but not mandatory
  • Demonstrated experience in the delivery of exceptional customer service with an exposure to call centre or virtual environments ideal
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Self-motivated and self-sufficient
  • Strong time management and ability to multi-task
  • High level of professionalism ability to work autonomously while contributing to team goals.
  • Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new platforms and systems easily

We currently have two Home Lending Specialist opportunities 1 x permanent and 1 x 12-month secondment. Ideally you will be located at our Adelaide Corporate Office but for a strong candidate open other corporate offices i.e. Brisbane. These roles are full time 76 hours per fortnight and Third-Party Virtual Banking opening hours are Monday Friday(AEST) and you will be required to work a rotating roster within these opening hours.
