Job Description
Phoenix Contact USA Inc. (Middletown PA) is seeking a Backend Software Developer: Develop new and reusable code that meets internal development standards and quality goals and that aligns with the defined architecture; utilize unit testing to ensure code quality. The position requires a minimum of a Bachelors degree in Computer Science IT or a related field and 2 years experience in the job offered or any related occupation to include: 2 years experience coding in Java programming language; 2 years experience working with Agile development methodology; 2 years experience writing backend interfaces to send and retrieve data (APIs); 2 years experience with software engineering methodologies; and 2 years experience handling data stored in relational or object databases. Work from home from anywhere in the U.S. is permitted. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education experience and training. Experience may have been gained concurrently.
