Job Description
Job Summary
Has technical responsibility for the geotechnical projects by conducting laboratory tests on soil rock and other geological materials; all in accordance with Company procedures Health and Safety and Quality policies.
Key Responsibilities
1- Sample Collection and Preparation
Collect and prepare soil and rock samples for laboratory testing in accordance with the standard procedures.
2- Laboratory Testing
Perform geotechnical tests such as:
Grain Size Analysis
Atterberg Limits
Proctor Compaction
California Bearing Test
Permeability Test
Unconfined Compression Test
Compressibility and Shear Strength Test
Soil Index Test
Rock Testing
Advanced Geotechnical Testing
3- Data Handling
Record analyze and interpret test results
Prepare detailed lab reports and communicate findings to engineer and laboratory manager.
Calibrate maintain and operate geotechnical lab equipment in accordance with ASTM/BS/ISO standards.
