Global Functions Technology (GFT) is part of RBCs Technology and Operations division. As Senior QE Analyst you will be responsible for effective planning executing automating and tracking functional tests portfolio / project name maintenance releases or projects.
What will you do
- Create test plans test cases and test scripts based on requirement documents and business User Stories
- Develop and maintain automated test suites using test automation tools
- Execute test cases (manual/automated) document test results and raise defects whenever necessary.
- Work with JIRA Confluence qTest for test case management defect management test reporting and other functions
- Participate in agile ceremonies like Sprint planning grooming sessions stand-up meetings demo sessions and retrospective meetings
- Participate E2E and integration testing
- Participate in defect triage and Scrum meetings
What do you need to succeed
Must-have
- Good knowledge of QE Processes Testing Life Cycle SDLC and Defect Management processes for application testing development and support with hands-on experience in creating test cases executing manual/automated test cases
- With a Computer Engineering Computer Science degree/diploma or equivalent experience having minimum 2 years of experience in a QA/test environment with a focus on technical automated testing in a variety of environments (Cloud distributed and mainframe business workflows and services/APIs databases).
- Knowledge of Testing Methodologies with hands on experience on JIRA and Confluence.
- Experience in test automation frameworks/tools e.g. (Robot Framework SoapUI or ReadyAPI Postman Selenium UFT/Lean UFT/RestAssured/ TestNG) and development languages ( Java etc.)
- Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps Tools such as Jenkins GIT etc
- Database technologies (e.g. MongoDB DB2 Oracle SQL IMS) and SQL experience.
