Whats the role
In this high-impact role youll manage a small portfolio of high valued business clients and lead a small team of Relationship Managers focusing on lending solutions and acquiring new-to-bank customers. Youll drive growth through strategic marketing initiatives and a strong referral network while delivering exceptional customer experiences.
This full-time role offers the opportunity to collaborate with specialists across wealth financial markets cash-flow and transactional banking. Internally youll lead and mentor your team; externally youll build a strong market presence and contribute to Westpacs industry specialisation and working capital expertise.
What do I need
- Industry Experience: Proven background in relationship management within the Commercial Banking sector with expertise in commercial and complex business banking.
- Credit Skills: Strong capability in writing analysing and structuring credit transactions including complex deal structuring and commercial lending.
- Business Development: Demonstrated success in acquiring new-to-bank customers and driving business growth.
- Networking: Well-established referral network and active engagement with industry associations to build market presence.
- Personal Drive: Highly motivated with a strong focus on expanding personal profile and identifying new commercial opportunities.
