BIM Engineer II Hybrid Role $105K$130K
Join a Top 20 Drywall Contractor Specializing in Large-Scale BIM Projects. We are hiring on behalf of one of Northern Californias premier wall and ceiling contractorsa nationally ranked firm known for its complex projects industry innovation and highly skilled Virtual Design & Construction team. Were looking for a BIM Engineer II to step into a hybrid role thats equal parts technical execution and collaborative coordination. This is a chance to join a firm thats been pioneering BIM in drywall for yearswith direct exposure to pre-con prefab and field applications.
In this role youll:
- Build constructible coordinated models for drywall systems
- Lead clash detection and generate detailed shop drawings
- Partner with project managers engineers and field foremen
- Support robotic layout QA/QC and scan-to-model workflows
- Work on some of the most recognizable projects in Northern California
Who were looking for:
- You have 3 years of experience in BIM modelingideally in drywall or specialty trades
- Youre confident using Revit Navisworks AutoCAD and Strucsoft MWF
- You understand construction sequencing and how to communicate it in 4D
- You enjoy working with field teams and arent afraid to ask questions or get answers
