Oracle Cloud Engineer

T-Rex Solutions is looking to select an Oracle DevSecOps Engineer to support the US Department of the Treasury TCloud enterprise cloud development effort. This effort aims to facilitate holistic multi-cloud solutions (AWS Azure OCI and GCP) to meet the Department of Treasurys enterprise-wide infrastructure needs. We are looking to hire a talented DevSecOps Engineer to support the O&M team responsible for the design implementation and management of Oracle Cloud solutions. The right candidate will be responsible for implementing best practices to operate and maintain resilient secure Oracle Cloud environments to enable development teams to deliver features in the most efficient way possible. This opportunity will be remote.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the operation and maintenance of the OCI cloud environment using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and SRE principles.
• Maintain ongoing development of automation and continuous build/integration/deployment infrastructure for multiple environments; write build and deploy scripts.
• Enable observability and resilience throughout multi-cloud landing zones and Dev/Test/Prod environments.
• Ensure security and compliance standards are met across all OCI deployments.
• Continuously assess onboard and enable new FedRAMP cloud services using security best practices for IAM and networking.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to assist with the implementation of cloud architecture best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree and 4 years of experience. 9 Years of Experience in Lieu of a degree.
• Must be U.S Citizen.
• Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance to start.
• Proven background working in cloud environments with experience and knowledge in one or more of the following areas:
  • Agile methodologies including Scrum or Kanban
  • Agile collaboration tools such as Atlassian Jira Confluence
  • CI/CD tools (Jenkins GitLab Bitbucket Artifactory)
  • Oracle OCI certified or equivalent years of experience working with Oracle cloud services
  • Oracle PeopleSoft and PeopleTools experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Oracle cloud concepts (Compartments Identity Domains Dynamic groups etc.)
  • Containerization and container management with Kubernetes and Helm
  • PowerShell or Bash Scripting
  • Cyber tools- Aviatrix Orca Splunk Qmulous STIG scanner
  • Terraform Ansible Oracle Stacks
  • Git branching strategies GitFlow and/or GitHub Flow
  • Cloud high availability and scalability best practices and architectures

Desired:

• Oracle Cloud certifications desired
• Active Treasury clearance preferred

In compliance with pay transparency guidelines the annual base salary range for this position is $100000 - $130000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
