Description

Were seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager of Marketing and Digital Strategy to lead oversee and elevate digital marketing content strategy and overall marketing efforts for our portfolio of 30 hotels and our home office. This role is key to driving brand awareness guest engagement and revenue growth through innovative results-focused digital campaigns and content initiatives. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in digital marketing strong command of industry tools and platforms and the creative vision to bring bold ideas to life.


The Senior Manager of Marketing & Digital Strategy will directly report to the Vice President of Revenue Strategy. The Senior Manager will support a portfolio of Hilton Marriott IHG and independent hotels across the United States. In addition to leading the marketing and digital efforts for the StepStone home office. The Senior Manager will work closely with both the regional and property leaders to build and maintain websites promote visibility and most importantly execute directives which support overall profitability.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Brand Liasson & Account Management: Leverage in-depth knowledge of major hotel brands (Marriott Hilton IHG) to develop and execute brand-aligned marketing strategies while cultivating and maintaining strong partnerships with market managers to drive performance and maximize visibility across distribution channels.
  • Digital Strategy & Execution: Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive digital marketing strategies for all applicable properties ensuring alignment with overall business goals and brand identity.
  • Content Creation & Management: Oversee the creation curation and management of compelling content across multiple digital channels including websites social media email blogs and video platforms. Ensure content is aligned with brand messaging and resonates with target audiences. This includes monthly audits for accuracy and user administration.
  • Performance Analysis & Optimization: Continuously analyze digital performance data track key performance indicators (KPIs) and optimize campaigns to achieve optimal results. Utilize analytics tools to provide actionable insights and improve ROI.
  • Marketing & Branding Alignment: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure all digital efforts are consistent with brand positioning and marketing objectives. Implement brand guidelines across all digital channels.
  • Creative Leadership & Innovation: Generate new out-of-the-box ideas for digital marketing campaigns and content that drive engagement and enhance the guest experience. Encourage and lead creative brainstorming sessions with cross-functional teams.
  • Action Teams & GM Planning Committee: Actively participate in Rotating Action Teams and the GM/DOS Annual Planning Committee to foster a collaborative guest-centric culture and contribute to the long-term strategic goals of the hotels.
  • Website & Social Media Management: Oversee the content creation optimization and management of hotel/corporate websites and social media profiles. Ensure content is up-to-date engaging and SEO-optimized to attract and convert potential guests.
  • Paid Media Campaigns: Manage and optimize paid search display advertising and paid social campaigns to increase online visibility and direct bookings. Ensure the campaigns are cost-effective and yield measurable results.
  • Collaboration & Leadership: Collaborate with internal teams (sales operations revenue management) to ensure the successful execution of integrated marketing campaigns. Specifically work with People & Culture/Development teams during the execution of the bi annual newsletters.
  • Stay Ahead of Trends: Keep a pulse on the latest digital marketing trends tools and technologies. Recommend and implement innovative tactics and techniques to maintain competitive advantage.
  • Monthly Reporting & Ownership Communication: Prepare and present detailed monthly performance reports for ownership and property teams including key metrics campaign outcomes and actionable recommendations to drive future success.
  • Annual Budget Support: Assist in the development of the annual marketing budget for digitalinitiatives. Provide ongoing support to ensure that campaigns and projects remain within budget while achieving desired outcomes.
Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in Marketing Communications Business or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in digital marketing and content strategy with a proven track record in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong proficiency with digital marketing tools platforms and analytics (e.g. Google Analytics Canva Mailchimp LinkedIn Instagram Facebook SEMrush Hootsuite HubSpot Adobe Creative Suite etc.).
  • Extensive experience in SEO SEM email marketing social media and web optimization.
  • Excellent leadership project management and team collaboration skills.
  • Time management skills showcasing the ability to manage across time zones and meet project deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Outstanding communication presentation and creative writing skills.
  • Ability to be a self-starter thinking proactively and creatively balancing innovation with practicality.
  • Knowledge of hotel industry trends and the competitive digital landscape is a plus.
