You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Statewide Residency Training Program is seeking an Iowa Health Professions Workforce Records Manager to perform the administrative activities for the maintenance and management of the Pharmacist and Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) tracking systems and the Visiting Consultant Clinics database and report. Creates pre-established annual reports to be duplicated annually for each information system along with an annual presentation to the Pharmacist and Advisory Boards. Analyzes and produces other meaningful reports derived from the database based upon requests from the Assistant Dean or Iowa Health Professions Inventory (HPINV) Director or members of the Advisory Boards. Backup duties for Iowa HPINV Division Director duties as required.

Duties to include:
Data Analysis Migration and Management
Manage the scope of work for internal and external data inquiries data integrity audits and workflow.
Develops and maintains reporting applications to enable and enhance reporting needs of the HPINV division.
Conducts ongoing data integrity audits.
Monitor workflow processes: may gather requirements or recommend improvements to processes.
Coordinates the data collection efforts and actively gathers information for the Pharmacy and Nurse Practitioner database and tracking systems.
Examines checks and verifies Pharmacist and Nurse Practitioner information in an ongoing manner.
Database Development/Reporting
Examine checks and verifies pharmacist and nurse practitioner training information and statistical reports generated from the Iowa Pharmacist Information System and the Iowa Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner Information System.
Answer routine inquiries and responds to data requests from OSCEP staff members collegiate faculty and staff advisory committee members and other public and private agencies/organizations.
Produce verify and distribute routine and statistical reports generated from the Pharmacist Nurse Practitioner and Visiting Consultant Clinic tracking systems.
Create databases and reports as directed.
Maintain documentation regarding all workflow processes.
Respond to data requests.
Leads the group of data analysts regarding the collection analysis and report of the Annual Visiting Consultant Clinic information.
Fills requests of data on Visiting Consultant Clinic reports.
Implementation
Produces verifies and distributes routine and statistical reports generated from the Pharmacist Nurse Practitioner and Visiting Consultant Clinic tracking systems.
Produces and verifies graphical representations of data generated from Pharmacist Nurse Practitioner and Visiting Consultant Clinic tracking systems. Directly responsible for Pharmacist and Nurse Practitioner annual graphs.
Produces Annual Report on Iowas Pharmacists Annual Report on Iowas Nurse Practitioners and Annual Report on Visiting Consultant Clinics. Directly responsible to update the pre-established Pharmacist and Nurse Practitioner Annual Report.
Presents Annual Reports to the corresponding Advisory Boards each year no later than October.
Provide analysis design and implementation and support of programmatic solutions.
Answers routine inquiries from OSCEP staff members and provides information regarding policies and procedures of the Pharmacist Nurse Practitioner and Visiting Consultant Clinic tracking systems.
Administration/Support
Serves as liaison with faculty and staff of the UI College of Pharmacy Drake University College of Pharmacy key stakeholders representing the nurse practitioner workforce in Iowa and Professor Tom Gruca regarding the Visiting Consultant Clinics.
Serves as a liaison with the staff of the Iowa Board of Nursing and Iowa Nurses Association along with other nursing leaders appointed to the advisory board.
Develops a relationship with and serves as liaison with staff of the Iowa Board of Pharmacy and the Iowa Board of Nursing.
Leadership/Staff Management/Financial Responsibility
Processes payments for data sales in conjunction with OSCEP financial staff.
Perform the administrative activities for the maintenance and management of the Iowa Pharmacist Nurse Practitioner and Visiting Consultant Clinic Tracking Systems.
Serves as liaison with faculty and staff of the UI College of Pharmacy and Drake University College of Pharmacy Iowa Board of Pharmacy and Iowa Pharmacy Association key stakeholders representing College of Nursing Iowa Nurses Association Iowa Board of Nursing and other nursing leaders within Iowa and other organizations/societies.
Working with the Iowa HPINV Division Director the position may be involved in conducting the marketing efforts for the Iowa Health Professions Inventory Nurse Practitioner Information System and the Iowa Pharmacy Information System including the identification of potential clients and coordination of mailings.
Composes correspondence in response to routine inquiries.
Responds to data requests from faculty and staff of the related Health Science Colleges and advisory boards.
Supervises the data collection activities of student employees.
Works with ASC on larger graphic projects.
Provides administrative support to the Director of Community Services Division in OSCEP.
Contribute ideas for new analysis of data and obtaining information.
Seek way to improve assigned processes.
May provide functional supervision; provide direction assignments feedback coaching and counseling to assure outcomes are achieved.
Other duties as assigned by the Division Director or Assistant Dean.
Required Qualifications:
A bachelors degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
One year of experience in health care and/or administration.
One year experience working with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Microsoft Outlook PowerPoint etc.) and graphics software (ex: Corel Draw Tableau Microsoft Power BI etc.).
Evidence of excellent written and verbal skills.
Recent projects/products that demonstrate a successful history of accurately organizing and managing detailed information.
One year of work experience that displays excellent interpersonal professionalism and customer service skills.
Evidence of contributing to a positive internal workplace culture.
Desired Qualifications:
Knowledge of Iowa healthcare systems and organizations.
One year experience working with a relational database.
Experience with survey research and data collection accompanied by excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience providing presentations is desirable.
Basic knowledge of python programming language.
