Overview
Now hiring a Now hiring a COOK I II III to support our Food Service Area.
Prepare hot food items for all areas of the department. Prepare food for cold prep grab and go and bulk production and short order grill. Prep food items as needed for menu cycles

Ideal Candidate:
COOK I- One to three years experience in high volume preparation and cooking of food in a hotel restaurant cafeteria catering firm government or private institution.
COOOK II-Three to five years experience in experience in high volume preparation and cooking of food in a hotel restaurant cafeteria catering firm government or private institution five to ten years preferred or internal candidate that demonstrates competency in two or more stations in the kitchen.
COOK III-Ten or more years experience in high volume preparation and cooking of food in a hotel restaurant cafeteria catering firm government or private institution or internal candidate who demonstrates competency in at least four stations in the kitchen.
Qualifications
- High School/GED preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assists in the preparation of hot food items for all areas as indicated by menu cycles.
- Responsible for preliminary preparation of food items for next day as indicated by menu cycle.
- Ability to read production tickets
- Assists with routine cleaning and sanitation of areas.
- Assists with serving food items as indicated by established workflow
- Must demonstrate competency in knife skills
- Must demonstrate competency in food service safety practices and procedures and temperature control
- Assists with other duties as needed
